The Department of War (DOW) and L3Harris Technologies have finalized a series of multi-year contracts to expand propulsion production for the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) systems. The agreement encompasses cloud migration, data analytics, cybersecurity enhancements and enterprise resource planning (ERP) modernization.

In parallel, DOW announced $86 million in awards under the Joint Laser Weapon System (JLWS) program. These contracts support prototype testing and production scaling for directed energy weapons designed to defeat swarms of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and provide advanced ship-based defense.

Collectively, these contracts represent a strategic investment of more than $7.1 billion in critical defense capabilities.
